From the heart of Central Florida, Joey Kirkland’s journey began in a small agricultural town where dirt bikes and guitar riffs shaped his youth. As an emerging solo artist, he honors his Southern roots by masterfully blending the raw energy of Southern and Blues Rock with the haunting melodies of Goth Country. His distinctive voice—a fusion of Chris Stapleton and Cody Cannon of Whiskey Myers—stands out in today’s music scene.
More than just music, Joey’s artistry forges deep connections with listeners. His soulful lyrics dive into personal struggles, inviting audiences to confront their own experiences and find solace in shared vulnerability.
His upcoming release, “Long Gone,” showcases his powerful vocals and haunting melodies, produced by Bret Alexander, known for his work with Breaking Benjamin. This collaboration promises to capture Joey’s essence and leave a lasting impact.
In January of 2024, Joey officially joined the acclaimed band, Soul Circus Cowboys. Bursting onto the scene with his infectious energy and undeniable talent, Joey is set to make his mark alongside the other talented band members. With a passion for music and a magnetic stage presence, Joey's addition brings a new dynamic to the Soul Circus Cowboys experience.

Mike is considered as the "5th member" of the Pickup Artists. He is an Outstanding man of integrity in our local Community! His interest in Music started way back in the early 90’s. Over the last 3 decades Mike has volunteered his time skillfully listening and working the sound board for several bands in the community.
Although his passion for music has never wavered over the years and is a die hard Rock and Roller this actually became a hobby for him. As he continuously listens very close he‘s developed a skill that most don’t recognize and is most valuable to bands. His hearing is very detailed to where others might just hear a blur of sound! The skill that it takes to run a sound board takes self motivation along with the help of others and as he listens in depth he is able to pick apart and uncover layers in the over all sounds as it changes and in doing so, he‘s able to judge details such as pitches and timbre reliably.
